As an extension to the out of the box Top Dog reporting environment, Top Dog provides business intelligence dashboards. These dashboards are data visualizations that display the current status of metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for an enterprise. Dashboards consolidate and arrange numbers, metrics and sometimes performance scorecards on a single screen. They can be tailored for a specific role and display metrics targeted for a single location or entity, a region, division or an entire enterprise.

Performance reported on the dashboard can be measured on a daily, monthly or yearly basis. Performance can be presented on a stand-alone basis or compared to a plan value, or to a prior period. Typical key performance indicators for the Tire and Automotive Industry include some of the following: Total Sales, Tire Sales, Service Sales, Retail Tire Units Light Truck Units, Medium Truck Units, Battery Units, Average Sales per Car, Ratio Service Sales to Total Sales and Car Count.

Dashboards are easily customizable to fit an organization's needs. Dashboards can be constructed in a variety of ways and include chart elements, gauges, indicators and tables. Dashboards can be delivered to and accessed by the user from e-mails delivered on a scheduled basis, website, SharePoint and company portals. Dashboards can be scoped to a specific audience. If a company has 100 stores, each manager would receive an individual dashboard representing the performance of that store. Every dashboard has the same identical layout, but report data specific to that store. Dashboards are flexible and easily accessible.
